New update and phone update!

Hello people,

Sorry I haven’t written in a fair while, been pretty busy with Uni and Work.

Quick update:

Well I’m back at Uni and enjoying it so far, sorted out my placement for next year at PC Call Ltd (www.pchome-call.com) very cool company to be working with.
Got rid of my Nokia N97, got fed up with the consistent crashed and problems and I have now joined the rest of the world and got an iPhone (3GS 32GB) very cool phone and loving it so far!
Upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit, so far so good, watch out for a blog article coming soon about it.

Windows 7 RC1

If you have been watching around you might have noticed the release candidate for Windows 7 is now available to everyone on the Microsoft website. I’ve had a chance to download this and I have loaded it into VMWare as a virtual machine. So far I have actually been very impressed with it, it installed very quickly, starts up very quickly and despite the fact I only gave the VM 1GB of RAM it is much more responsive than I have ever seen Vista. I really think this could almost be a replacement for Vista rather than just the next edition for Windows. After seeing the improvements in Windows 7 you can really see that Vista was a bit of a disaster for Windows. I will write a full review of Windows 7 soon.
